I’m Lauren Hines and I am running to be your next state representative for District 5. I'm excited to put my experience, education, and skills to use creating a brighter future for all Kentuckians. I intend to make sure Western Kentucky gets a fair shake and our fair share. I’ll work to bring back more of our tax dollars, work to lower costs, and fully fund our public schools.
As a lifelong Kentuckian and a resident of Calloway County for 30 years, I am deeply connected to this community and am committed to doing my part to ensure that we have the resources and policies that allow our people to thrive. As a high school teacher, I taught my students that the smallest changes in history have often led to the greatest progress. That’s why I’m running for state representative—to bring new energy to the job and new ideas to help our families and communities meet the future.
